How do I pay right now?
<b>Payments are currently invoice-based.</b> After your order is confirmed you receive a proforma invoice and pay by bank transfer; goods ship after the invoice is paid. The escrow/card checkout described below is temporarily suspended and will return at a later stage.
How does payment work on VESTRA?
At checkout you receive an automatic PDF invoice per seller, including the seller's bank details. You pay by bank transfer (SEPA within the EU) directly to the seller; goods ship as soon as the payment arrives. Every step is documented in your account.
What is escrow and why does VESTRA use it?
Escrow means a neutral third party holds the payment until agreed conditions are met (delivery confirmed, inspection window passed). It protects buyers against non-delivery and sellers against non-payment — neither party can disappear with the money.
Who holds the escrow funds?
A licensed, regulated third-party payment and escrow provider holds all funds. VESTRA never holds or transmits user money.
When are funds released to the seller?
Funds release when: (a) you confirm receipt of goods, or (b) the agreed auto-release window (typically 5–14 days after confirmed delivery) expires with no dispute raised. If a dispute is opened, funds remain frozen until resolution.
What payment methods are accepted?
Bank transfer against the seller's invoice — SEPA within the EU, SWIFT internationally. Card and other online payment methods are temporarily suspended. Cryptocurrency and cheques are not accepted.
In which currency do I pay?
All prices on VESTRA are in Euros (EUR). SEPA transfers are made in EUR. Card transactions may attract a conversion fee if your card is in a different currency.
Is there a buyer-protection fee?
Yes — escrow (secure card) orders carry a 3.8% buyer-protection fee. It holds your payment safely until you confirm delivery and funds a full refund if the deal falls through, and it is shown clearly at checkout before you pay. Orders paid by bank transfer against an invoice have no buyer fee.
Is my payment information safe?
You pay by bank transfer from your own bank — VESTRA never collects, sees, or stores your card numbers or online-banking credentials. The seller's bank details are printed on the invoice itself.
